So I see this Second Life thing on TV and thought, "Hey, sounds kinda cool. Think I'll try it out." So I sign up, under the name Raya Harsley (not exactly the last name I'd wanted, but you can only choose from the list provided). And then, after I validated, I found out I had to download something that my poor old computer couldn't handle. Crap. Maybe I can talk the sis into helping us get a new old computer (something on clearance) so we actually have a computer somewhere in the ballpark of modern technology. It can be a holiday gift of sorts. Then again, that might eliminate my chances of getting a really nice blender... Double crap.
